/!\ How to listen /!\

You need a "player" to listen the mp3 streaming, there is many, depending your OS, you have choice :
- Windows > Winamp, Mplayer, aTunes(cross platform), VLC
- OsX > iTunes, Mplayer, VLC
- Linux > Xmms, Rhythmbox

Windows media player's users : If you experience some problem, alternative solution : right click the WinMediaPlayer subflow's stream link, save the "xxxx.asx" file to your desktop, then open WinMediaPlayer > "Files" menu > "Open file" > select the xxx.asx file you saved just before.

- PocketPC users [Windows mobile 5/6]:
Use Winvibes instead of windows media player which is a very crappy player.
and use the stream's URL : http://www.subflow.net:8008 (without "/listen.pls" at the end)

- Iphone users :
Let me know ..! For sure iTunes can reach the http://www.subflow.net:8008/listen.pls URL,
but you don't have 3G capable phone, oh sorry, 600$ for only EDGE/2G network, no GPS, no Flash support, no MMS support,..it's a big joke.
Fucked by design ..hahaha

Streaming problem

Dear listener,
The radio experience streaming problem, mainly on the "Minimal" flow since I run a new script (a couple of weeks).
as Neilcuk report by email : [Thank to him]
"Dear Subflow - for the last couple of weeks I have had nothing but trouble trying to tune in to your station. I'll connect, the track list will appear but there will be no streaming audio. I have tried on various players/platforms and all the same extremely intermittent service."

After long time of test and tuning, I've enhanced my Liquidsoap script [the radio engine in others words].
Some minor problem occur*, but nothing bad, I've just to perfect my knowledge about Liquidsoap's scripting.
From today, special long jingle announce transition between track based playlist and mix based playlist. Jingles are "home made", I hope you'll enjoy them.
The 2 secondary streams have been changed from 56kbs stereo to 64Kbs mono which sounds better.

Some extra playlist for promo or special event, will be added later.
What's next:
*Fix problem, especially when switching to mix, mix title is not displayed. :-(

If you have some time to spend, promote subflow.net.

I've add a lot of fresh sound this week. Check the Free music archive to see last add in our archive,displayed by more recent to older. Use Ctrl + F (with Firefox) to search inside the folder.
Some of you, get error when try downloading files:
If you just copy/past the title of track displayed by your stream player [Winamp/Itunes/Xmms...] in your browser adress bar, it doesn't work, because "_" are removed from files title.
The real file name = "loopzilla008_hossow_smokedriver.mp3" become "loopzilla008 hossow smokedriver.mp3" and you get a nice 404error.

Check this pages for last played tracks :
- Minimal : 20 Last played
- Ambient : 20 Last played

Maybe you prefer colorized version :

Dear fellows, take advantage to visit our website frequently
Test our streaming 256Kbs (Minimal -Tech) with Savonet radio system.
More powerfull, advanced features, scheduling, transition, promotional tracks, jingles, normalization, compression...
